Our Story
We believe experience should be accessible to everyone.
LiveThru was founded on a simple idea: the limits of your body shouldn't be the limits of your life.
Founded 2031
From research lab to global platform.
LiveThru began as a research project exploring how motor intention could be translated across neural systems. Our founder, Dr. Leon Voss, spent years at the intersection of neuroscience and human-computer interaction, asking a question most people thought was decades away from being practical: could one person safely experience the world through another person's body?
The answer was yes. And the implications were bigger than anyone expected.
Our early work focused on accessibility. Veterans with mobility injuries experienced running again. People in hospice care revisited places they thought they'd never see. The technology worked. It was safe. And the people who used it described the experience in ways that made it clear this wasn't just a medical tool. It was something fundamentally new.
In 2033, we opened LiveThru to the public. Today, we connect over 40,000 verified Hosts across 30 countries to Controllers who want to experience the world without the limitations of geography, mobility, or circumstance.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Safety first. Always.
Every decision we make starts with the question: is this safe for our Hosts and Controllers? If the answer isn't a clear yes, we don't ship it.
Hosts are people, not products.
Our Hosts set their own rates, their own schedules, and their own boundaries. We exist to support them, not to extract from them.
Experience without borders.
Geography, mobility, and circumstance shouldn't determine what you can experience. We're building a world where they don't.
